Now the dust has settled and the guarantee for the windows arrived, I thought I would write to thank you all at Thames Valley Window Company for the service in fitting our replacement sliding sash windows. Not withstanding the problem with the dining room window, which I believe was a manufacturing mistake rather than a surveying mistake , the windows are superb and delivered all that we expected of them.

When there is a problem, this often shows what kind of company you are dealing with, and you got this resolved without any argument.

The difference in noise level was instant. On the first evening, I said to the kids from the front bedroom with new windows’ what can you hear ? nothing they replied; ‘Exactly! I said.

Now the autumn is upon us and the heating is on, we can feel that the house is so much warmer; in fact, Mrs Taylor has turned the heating off a couple of times, which is most unlike her !

We were also impressed by the fitters; the speed at which they worked, the way they cleared up and how they made good any damage that resulted from taking out the old windows.

We would have no hesitation in recommending you to other people and using you again should we want to do something with the remaining windows and the conservatory
