Our client in Woodley, wanted to increase their living space by creating a large kitchen area that would become the central heartbeat of their family home. A separate utility room was also on the wish list.
We designed a traditional Orangery with lantern roof. The Rustique satin white uPVC double glazed windows and doors feature a rectangle lead in a clerestory frame design, in keeping with the style of the property and the existing windows. The stepped front, timber fascia and decorative cornice, all add character and interest, and help to soften the blockwork and rendered elevations.
Underfloor heating was also chosen and adds a luxurious touch.
Our recommended builder undertook all of the works including raising the existing ceiling and incorporating new RSJs so that the new ceiling area is flat.
