Having designed and manufactured the very first modern Bi-Folding Door set in 1985 Solarlux™ has grown year on year and are recognised as the leading brand in the Sliding/Folding Door market with a circa €85million turnover. Specified by experienced Architects and high end developers alike these doors truly are a class above any other system in an otherwise crowded market place.

As with any double glazed product there are many cheaper alternatives but if quality, style and longevity is what you strive to achieve then there really is no better place to look than the SL range. Completely designed and manufactured in Germany these doors have all the hallmarks you expect from German engineering.

SL25

This incredibly versatile door can be implemented in a number of scenarios from balcony glazing, internal screens as well as combining with an atrium roof to provide a unique indoors/outdoors living experience.

SL 35

Non Thermally-Broken Aluminium Bi-Folding Doors. Lightweight frames make these perfect for internal screens dividing living spaces or external balcony glazing.

SL 45

Very similar to the SL35, these lightweight Aluminium doors are Non-Thermally Broken and work brilliantly for balcony glazing or a more robust option than the SL25 for an external sun room.

SL 60e

The most popular system in the Solarlux range. Thermally Broken with an average u-value 1.6w/m²k, with a slim-line glass-to-glass measurement of 130mm and a beautiful integrated hinge system these doors are perfect for almost any domestic solution.

SL 70e

The most versatile of the thermally broken systems; the SL70 is able to achieve oversized panel widths and heights. It is also adaptable for a faceted solution as well as combining with a movable corner post allowing for a completely open plan effect. Aluminium, heat-insulated. Heat-insulated folding glass door for designs in XXL format.

SL 80 / SL 81

The slightly more bespoke range comes with either a soft-line (SL80) or contemporary square edge (SL81) frame detail. While the ultra sleek lines offer a beautiful 104mm glass-to-glass measurement the deeper frame allows for a superb 1.4w/m²k u-value. The larger aluminium hinge system also allows for a greater flexibility on panel width and height.

SL 82

This stylish and sleek designed door allows for a sensational frameless look; layered glass overlapping the slim protective aluminium profile offer the best looking edge-to-edge all-glass system available. Totally unique and representative of Solarlux's desire and commitment to pioneer new development within the Bi-Folding Door market.

SL 97

An evolution of the SL67 and the newest door in the Solarlux range, this composite system is designed to combine style with the lowest achievable u-values. With triple glazing this door has a staggering 0.7w/m²k making it suitable for passive housing or any situation where maximum thermally efficiency is either required or just simply desired.
