The Victorian property is located in the much-sought-after Poets area of Wimbledon, London.
The Wimbledon homeowner is an architect, and he purchased the property in 2020, which was in much need of modernisation. He had started undertaking some refurbishment and extension works whilst maintaining the traditional feel of his property, so he contacted us for a quote for a new aluminium gable bi-folding door with a fixed window above for his extension, and four timber sliding sash windows for the front elevation of the house.

Luke contacted the Wimbledon homeowners to discuss their refurbishment and extension plans and listened to their glazing requirements.
The Wimbledon homeowner wanted to keep the terrace period property as traditional as possible and in keeping with neighbouring properties. He felt that the existing uPVC casement windows detracted from the property’s period charm. Part of the home refurbishment required replacing the timber sliding sash windows to restore and preserve the property’s character and history.
