Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire
Our client in Maidenhead, Berkshire has completely renovated this property to create an energy-efficient home. A large extension at the rear of the property has created an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The space can be further opened up to the outside with the addition of two sets of Solarlux bi-fold doors.
We installed a 4-panel set of bi-fold doors in the living room and a 5-panel set of doors in the kitchen. Both are finished in Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) inside and out, which perfectly match the aluminium windows. The flush track creates that seamless transition between the indoors and outdoors.
Despite the large amount of glass, these doors have a low u-value of 1.4w/m²K.
Upstairs, Solarlux French doors have been installed in the master bedroom, creating wonderful views across the garden and fields beyond.
We produced 3D drawings for our client so that they were able to see exactly what their property would look like. This enables you to experiment with various colours and styles before making a final decision – great for peace of mind!
What an impressive property and delightful place to live.
