Having spent over a year discussing numerous options for their extension, our client chose to work with Thames Valley Windows based on the quality of the Solarlux doors and our ability to understand and interpret their requirements for the design.
We recommended the bespoke Solarlux SL60e Bi-Folding Doors. Both a 3 and 4 panel door set were combined to create an open corner effect to the room. In addition to the large Solarlux SL 60e fixed frame window on that elevation, our client has been able to take advantage of a stunning back drop to the house bringing in the masses of light and an appreciation of the garden and beyond.
We have used a subtle contemporary grey finish to the frame which has blended well with the timber cladding of the building.
To the front of the extension a Solarlux SL 60e Door was used for an entrance in to the porch and another large Solarlux SL 60e fixed frame on the side brings light in to both the porch area and beyond, with the use of a fully glazed door inside.
