This beautiful property situated in Chobham required a fresh aesthetic for the outside of the property. It had single glazed windows and the client wanted it to be brought up to current modern uPVC double glazing window specifications with high quality wooden veneers, improving its energy efficiency and looks simultaneously. Additionally, they wanted a conservatory-style area placed on the outside of the property to increase their living space whilst adding an extra dimension to the property. We are a local company and can create any kind of style you require- doors, conservatories and uPVC double glazing in Chobham and the surrounding areas.
To help the client envisage their house with new uPVC double glazing windows and a conservatory, Thames Valley Windows used state-of-the-art 3D imaging models to illustrate the house’s new looks before the client finalised their designs.
The client chose Halo Rustique wood grain windows and doors with chrome Ventis window handles plus hardwood window boards to add a Georgian quality to the house. Combined with narrow fix bars, the window’s aesthetic qualities add a certain period essence which freshens it up whilst bringing the window spec up to modern standards. A living room orangery and internal down lightning in the ceiling tops it all off for an authentic come modern feel. New rainwater channels were installed to overcome an existing problematic blocked drain. Aluminium cornice guttering was fitted around the conservatory to modernise the house’s drainage spec and a new box gutter was fitted.
The result is a house which looks better with higher quality windows, meaning reduced heating bills, less drainage problems and ultimately, an increase in the property’s value.
