At Thames Valley Window Company we source all of our products with meticulous care, choosing our suppliers with the same attention to detail as we would for our own homes. Our timber products are no different and we offer the very best in double glazed timber windows and doors.
Thames Valley timber windows and doors are truly bespoke and available in European Redwood (Softwood), Hardwood or Oak timber options.
We have adopted manufacturing techniques used on the continent to withstand the harsh weather conditions in Western Europe however, the styles and profiles are entirely British in aesthetics.
Multi-layered timber sections (see our blog ‘What is the Difference Between Solid Timber and Engineered Timber?‘) are engineered to provide maximum resistance against twisting and warping. Only knot/defect free timber is used to offer a high specification window without the problem of resin exudation.
The glazing units are almost twice as effective as existing double glazing (pre-2002). Concealed drainage systems that reduce sealed unit failure and high performance paint and stain coatings that provide maximum protection for minimal maintenance and advanced perimeter locking systems, are just some of the innovations that are integrated as standard throughout the range. We can also offer triple glazing for greater thermal and acoustic performance and Secure by Design!
At Thames Valley Windows we recognise our responsibility to promote and maintain the sustainable development of our environment. By choosing timber we are helping to combat climate change.
Thames Valley timber windows and doors are made from fully certified timber, so you can be sure that the wood harvested has been replaced by even more new trees, adding to the carbon sink effect of our forests. All of our products are available will full PEFC Certification on request.
We can duplicate any style and period of timber window in Flush and Storm casements as well as a range of sliding sash windows with cords and weights or spiral balances. We also offer Timber Front Doors, Timber French Doors, Timber Bi-Fold Doors and Timber Sliding Doors to complete the range.
Our entire timber replacement window range is available in any RAL colour or stained finish. We also have our own traditional paint range to match any Farrow & Ball or Dulux Heritage Range.
Our products are designed and custom made to suit your chosen style and property. Therefore, giving you a quote before speaking to you or seeing your home, isn’t possible. However, we can give you the following commitments:
