The family home is nestled in a quiet residential cul-de-sac on a highly desirable and popular development in Warfield, Berkshire.

The Warfield homeowners decided it was time to refresh the façade of their home, and with energy prices increasing, they were keen to improve the energy efficiency within the property.

Joe arranged a date with the homeowners to visit their home to measure the existing windows and doors and discuss their home improvement project so that he could design the best architectural glazing solution to meet their requirements.

Part of the Warfield homeowner’s brief was to replace the existing rosewood windows and doors with low-maintenance, high-performance double-glazed windows that would last many years. They were clear right from the start that they wanted a cream colour on the exterior with a woodgrain finish to add a classic and charming aesthetic to their property.

After a visit to our Bracknell showroom, our clients choose Halo Antique Rustique windows and French doors with welded grooved corner joints, and easy escape egress hinges that open to a full 90 degrees to provide superior air ventilation and natural light throughout the property.

They decided on dual colour frames with cream (RAL 9001) on the exterior, known as “Ice Cream”, and white for the interior with a wood grain finish.

They also chose scotia beading and graphite handles for all their uPVC double-glazed windows and doors throughout the property.
