Internorm HF 310 Aluminium & uPVC Windows, Bath

Location: Bath

This impressive new build property in Bath has been built with high quality and high performance in mind. The windows are from Internorm’s Home Pure range. The Internorm HF 310 Aluminium & uPVC window features a square edged sash and a tilt and turn feature. A triple gasket system protects against driving rain and high permeability as well as offering superb thermal and sound insulation.

Being located within a conservation area, the owners of this family home were declined approval for building an extension to the existing house, and so knocked it down and built this rather contemporary property they so desperately wanted.

The owner reached out to his brother to create some concept drawings and finally approached well-renowned architects, CaSA, who took the project through to completion. Wanting to make use of the views of the countryside and Bath city at either end of the proposed building, CaSA approached our Managing Director, Ryan Schofield at Thames Valley Windows, who designed and managed the installation project from beginning to end. He commented “attention to detail was key as the owners wanted to make the most of the views and light, and have maximum privacy. Internorm’s full-height timber/aluminium lift and slide doors and windows were fitting for this new build eco property with zinc exterior cladding.”

As specified and suggested by the architect, the clients decided to go for Internorm’s standard triple security glazing to fit the overall eco credentials being pursued, with 48mm glazing for best thermal insulation, making them passive house suitable. The modern square edged white frame on the inside fitted the planned décor, and the grey aluminium windows and doors outside fitted the proposed grey zinc work cladding, and the slate paved terraces.

These Internorm HF 310 Aluminium & uPVC Windows in Bath are clean, sharp and sophisticated, offering practical use for our client’s family. The full height window in the bedroom displays plenty of natural light and magnificent countryside views. The tilt and turn feature ensure safety while allowing fresh air to enter the room.

We also installed the Internorm Lift and Slide Doors at this new build in Bath.
