This beautiful family home in Windsor still had the original timber sash windows which were in need of replacement. They were single glazed, draughty and showing signs of wear and tear. We replaced the front windows with double glazed timber alternative sliding sash windows in a white grained wood finish and authentic Georgian bars. The rear windows were casements so we duplicated the styles again, in keeping with the original character. We also installed French Doors to the living room. The white grained wood finish matches that of the windows.
The timber is engineered ensuring that the windows do not twist or warp and is available in softwood or hardwood. It is factory finished with a Microporous Teknos paint system.
The benefits the new timber alternative sliding sash windows bring in Windsor are enormous. They have improved the security of the property, increased the thermal performance, reduced noise from outside, increased the value of the home and given it a new lease of life.
