Slimline triple-glazed black composite windows were the perfect architectural glazing solution for this beautiful, impressive white-rendered new build in Surbiton, Surrey.
This luxurious detached Heritage new build is on a peaceful, desirable road in Surbiton, Surrey.
This Surbiton couple purchased the existing property in 2022 and decided to demolish it and rebuild a luxury heritage-style home.
The Surbiton homeowners embarked on a journey of inspiration and discovery when they visited Farnborough’s Homebuilding and Renovation show in January 2023 to gather ideas for their luxurious new home.
At the Internorm stand, the Surbiton couple, armed with their architect drawings, discussed with our designer, Luke, the windows and doors that would best suit their new build. Luke, showcased the Internorm composite windows and discussed the various styles and glazing options.
Luke recommended they visit our Bracknell showroom, where they would see a wide range of windows, bi-folding doors, and flat roof lights on display that would suit their project.
Luke worked closely with the Surbition homeowners to design and supply a large bespoke architectural glazing solution throughout the property that met their requirements and was within their budget.
He recommended triple-glazed Internorm KF 310 uPVC-aluminium windows from the Home Pure range, SL60e bifold doors, and Infinilight aluminium flat roof lights that would achieve the overall U value specified by their architect and meet building regulations requirements.
The homeowners chose powder-coated jet black RAL9005 for the composite windows on the exterior and Edelweiss for the interior.
Edelweiss White is a soft hue with a hint of warmth while remaining completely neutral.
All the triple-glazed black composite windows feature an inward-opening tilt-and-turn system. This system allows for versatile ventilation and easy cleaning, as the windows can be opened by tilting inwards for secure draft-free ventilation or swinging inwards to open completely for cleaning or emergency exit.
Triple-glazed 48 mm clear glass units with ECLAZ® coating and black ISO spacer bar offer high insulation and light transmission with a U Value 0.5W/m²K. This low U-value indicates that the triple glazed windows provide excellent thermal insulation, helping to reduce heat loss and energy consumption in the home.
The KF 310 Home Pure square window design is a key feature of the uPVC-aluminium windows from Internorm. They have an excellent reputation for high-quality, energy-efficient composite windows with three continuous gaskets that offer excellent thermal protection as low as 0.83W/(m2K). Additionally, these windows reduce noise by up to 37 dB, creating a peaceful and comfortable living environment.
Designed with a construction depth of 71mm, the glazing unit is bonded with the window sash and a concealed locking system. The thermal-efficient KF 310 composite window ensures excellent stability, thermal insulation, and high security while offering sleek aesthetics.
Internorm windows and doors hold full accreditation from Secured by Design and Pas 24, guaranteeing the highest security. Their aluminium-clad exteriors withstand severe weather, offering remarkable durability, long-lasting performance, and minimal maintenance requirements.
This luxurious new-build home in Surbiton has been designed with exceptional attention to detail and finished to an immaculate standard. The jet-black window frames look extremely sleek against the crisp white render and allow natural light to flow into the home.
The house interior is luxuriously decorated to a very high standard. The black aluminium profiles of the bi-folding doors are aesthetically pleasing. They contrast perfectly with the neutral interior décor palette without being too harsh and enhance the fantastic natural light.
