Apeer 70 Composite Front Doors

Our Apeer composite front doors have been designed to meet the growing demand for a maintenance-free door that resembles timber. There are many composite doors on the market; the majority are only 40mm thick and are double-glazed.

The Apeer 70 is the only triple-glazed composite door on the market. The units are 48mm thick instead of the normal 24mm or 28mm double-glazed units, giving a centre pane u-value of only 0.7, achieving an A rating for energy efficiency.

The Apeer 70 is 70mm thick, which is 75% thicker and heavier than its competitors. It has a double rebate, which allows more room for adjustment and heat expansion while adding additional draught protection.

Police-approved ͚’secured by design’ anti-bump, anti–drill, anti-pick, and anti-snap kitemarked cylinder lock barrels are fitted as standard to every Apeer door. Large steel hinge bolts ensure maximum security at the weakest point. The Apeer 70 is the most secure composite door on the market.

There is a large selection of both traditional and contemporary designs in a huge array of colours, or you can select any RAL or BS colour. Plus, for absolute consistency, every edge can be colour-matched. You can choose an outer frame in smooth white uPVC or a timber-alternative grained finish in white, or in the same colour as your door.

Thames Valley Windows is the only company that offers a factory-finished/painted, or stained hardwood cill on all our door ranges.

A-Rated by Design

Did you know that much like your washing machine or fridge freezer, your front door can be energy rated too? When we created our flagship product, the Apeer 70, we used the very latest in design and materials to help keep the heat in and the cold out. We created one of the most energy-efficient doors available.

The Apeer 70 double rebate system adds additional draught protection by creating an internal secondary rebated seal.
For better insulation, every Apeer 70 door is equipped with toughened triple-glazed units and Apeer 44 with double-glazed units. Glazed units are also available with Low E glass and can be gas filled to offer improved thermal performance.

Secured by Design

Our police-approved, ͚secured by design͛ anti-bump, anti-drill, anti-pick and anti-snap kitemarked cylinder lock barrels are fitted as standard to every Apeer door and if that isn͛t enough to put off even the most determined criminal, our triple-glazed, anti-tamper glazing system will.

Our multi-point locking system is fitted as standard to reinforce the safety concept in your home.

Steel hinge bolts secure the door to the frame on the Apeer 70, protecting against intruders.

Colour by Design

Our low-maintenance, highly robust colour finishes are designed to stay looking good year after year, both on the outside and on the inside. Choose the perfect colour for the exterior of your home and match it with the ideal colour for the inside. Plus, for absolute consistency even when the door is open, we carefully colour-match every edge.

Our manufacturing process allows us the flexibility to colour-match your complete door entrance system, inside and outside. Colour choices are not restricted to white frames or to a white only finish on the inside. Choose your door colour, match the door frames, rebate, weather deflector and internal finish.

For a bespoke colour finish, simply bring along a RAL or BS colour reference.
