These clients approached us with the task of enhancing the heat and sound insulation of this amazing property in North London. We recommended that they have double glazing windows and doors in North London.

These windows have been engineered to provide especially high thermal performance and sound insulation using acoustic glass, of as much as 0.8 W/m2K and 45db respectively. The windows have a finished look of timber inside with the look of aluminium external windows on the outside. The transformation of the property was completed with the Scotia beading on the double glazing windows and doors in North London.

Behind the property, there are two perfect single-storey extensions, that we installed Solarlux aluminium bifold doors into to provide an enhanced feeling of light and space. These were finished in a modern grey on the interior and exterior that contrasted wonderfully with the pale render and red brickwork of the property. As there was a large amount of glazing used, it was crucial that the doors did not impede the thermal performance, so the client, on our recommendation, opted for triple-glazing rather than standard double.

As well as improving the thermal and sound insulation of the building, these double glazing windows and doors in North London require little to no maintenance compared to traditional timber windows and provide increased security for the property.
