This home has a lovely open-plan space downstairs which has been fully maximised with the addition of Solarlux SL 60e 5-panel bi-fold doors. An odd number of leaves makes it possible to have one leaf open like a standard door – ideal for quick and easier access to the garden or if you have pets or children popping in and out. The flush track creates a seamless transition and avoids any tripping hazards.
We also installed double glazed uPVC/aluminium composite windows from Internorm’s Home Soft range, with tilt & turn opening. The main benefits of the tilt and turn windows are secure night time ventilation when the windows can be tilted and locked in position allowing air to flow in and out. It also makes for much easier cleaning of the glass. The windows are opened inwards so no need for ladders where the windows are on the first floor or above.
Both the Solarlux bi-folding doors and the Internorm windows are finished in Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016).
