Our client in Crowthrone wanted to extend their home to create a bright and spacious kitchen where the whole family could dine, relax and entertain.
They added a rear extension which was completed with a Livin Room Orangery roof to create a greater feeling of space and maximise the flow of light into the room. The roof system delivers the same stylish appeal of a lantern but at a lower cost than a traditional flat roof construction. As well as delivering on aesthetics, the roof is practical too, incorporating self-cleaning glass which also reduces glare and heat build-up in the summer months.
Our client also loved the idea of being able to easily access their garden and made the decision to invest in two sets of Solarlux SL 60e Bi-Folding Doors in Crowthorne in a sleek grey aluminium finish. In warm weather, the doors can be easily stacked back to create an unobstructed opening and view into the garden. In cooler weather, the high security doors provide great insulation and low u-values to maintain an even temperature.
The family is delighted with their new room which has become everyone’s favourite place to congregate. “It’s doubled our living space and we have the kitchen we’ve always dreamed of – it’s better than we could have imagined,” they said.
