Location: Windlesham, Surrey
Our client in Windlesham, Surrey, wanted to extend their home and create a living space that the whole family could enjoy, all year round.
This traditional-style uPVC Orangery in Windlesham spans the rear of the property and is accessible from the family room and kitchen. French doors lead on to the patio and back garden.
The Orangery frames, windows and doors are all white uPVC with a grain effect. The two aluminium roof lanterns are white on the inside to match the decor and grey on the outside to blend in with the flat roof covering. They benefit from Active Neutral Glass which provides an amount of protection from the hottest parts of the day as well being self-cleaning. There are also motorised roof vents which are essential for effective ventilation as warm air rises.
A beautiful addition to this family home.
Our client is delighted with their Orangery in Windlesham! They said “Our whole family love the Orangery Thames Valley Windows designed and built for us! It’s very useful and practical for us since it’s connected to the house on two sides and opens into our family room and the kitchen and to the outdoors. Since it’s south facing we get sun light all year round. The Orangery is the most often used room in our home in the day time and evenings. Kids use it for play and reading, while we enjoy many a relaxing morning and evenings with a cup of tea and a book. And it makes a fantastic socialising space when we have family functions and when entertaining friends. Our Orangery really brings ‘the outdoors in’! We preferred an Orangery over a conservatory since we wanted a structure which complimented our house and gave it a substantial wooden/glass roof and character. They were very helpful in creating something that complimented our house and our lifestyle. The automatic roof windows suggested are very handy to have! We love it!” Thanks TVW company!”
