uPVC Windows in Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire

At Thames Valley Windows, we not only supply, but will also install high-quality uPVC windows throughout Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire and the surrounding areas in order to either replace older aluminium, natural timber and uPVC windows in refurbishment projects on residential properties. We will also provide brand-new uPVC windows for new builds and extensions.

The comprehensive range of uPVC window fixtures that we carry and supply includes flush and lipped/rebated casements featuring the choice between modern crisp and smooth lines, classic rustique/ovolo finishing or a mixture of both.

uPVC Windows: Rebated & Flush Sash

To further enhance our uPVC windows in Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire and give them a truly authentic look, we can fit Georgian bars either externally or internally. As if that wasn’t enough, you can even choose the classic handcrafted lead, so it matches the property’s original windows design.

Since they were first introduced, it must be said, uPVC windows have evolved and changed quite a bit. Compared to the way they were in the 1980s, they are far more beneficial and come with a multitude of great features. Most noteworthy in recent years is the conception of the traditional timber-looking joint, that’s good enough to fool a professional. These give synthetic windows that very real and natural look, the kind that matches with older buildings and period properties more. However, they also work well with contemporary homes too.

To incorporate this look into your home refurb, new build or extension, just look to the Heritage flush windows we showcase as well as the uPVC window designs we carry as authorised resellers for Evolution Windows.

The Profile of our uPVC Windows

Our uPVC windows in Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire have an especially low profile that measures just 70mm from the front to the back. Sealed window units measure 28mm with a 20mm air gap. A spacer bar filled with argon gas is used to provide additional thermal efficiency, bringing the u-value of the windows to 1.4. The thickness of the profile wall is 18% larger than others out there, making our products much sturdier and durable compared to those offered by our competitors. Because we use low-level gaskets, we can achieve wider areas of glass, minus those obvious and unattractive gasket lines.

Comprehensive Range of RAL Colour Finishes

Like most of the other timber-effect windows we offer at Thames Valley Windows, our Heritage uPVC windows come in a huge variety of exterior colour finish options, as listed below. While the Cherrywood, Rosewood and Smooth White all have an interior smooth white finish, Ivory, Black Woodgrain, Smooth Anthracite Grey, Irish Oak, French Grey, Ice Cream, Agate Grey and White Grain all have an interior white woodgrain finish.

You also have the option for Cherrywood and Rosewood windows where the interior matches the exterior colour, while System 10 and Rustique are available in the Rosewood, Cherrywood and Smooth White.

uPVC Windows - Colour Range

Don’t worry if your preferred RAL colour is not listed anywhere on this page, as we can still provide our windows and doors in your chosen finish.

We have had our uPVC windows in Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire assessed independently and they have received the PAS 23/24 accreditation for their performance in weather and security, and the BS7950 accreditation for enhanced security from the British Standards Institute. Alongside those the windows have also received the Secured by Design or SBD which is a flagship initiative established by the UK police. It means that the windows have been designed using security standards and crime prevention standards to reduce the chances of criminal ingress into your home.

There are many things you need to be sure of when buying replacement uPVC windows in Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire, including:

  • The sill proportions are incredibly important, and can complete or ruin your project, if you are not careful. Think carefully about having hardwood rather than uPVC as the alternatives will help maintain the period detailing and give your new windows a degree of architectural character.
  • If you are replacing natural wood windows, Georgian bars can be installed to simulate the original look and feel
  • Look for the windows with the best energy efficiency rating, A-rated uPVC windows, we feel are best
  • You only invest in windows made from material that will last 30 years and more
  • The uPVC window designs and dimensions fit with the style and age of your building
  • The traditional timber styling is reflected by the shape/profile of the new uPVC windows

Alongside the uPVC windows we carry, we also supply and install uPVC sliding patio doors, French doors and entrance doors. As with all the products we offer, whether it’s from our uPVC ranges or not.
