EdgeGLIDE Plus Sliding Door - A Video Guide

Video Transcription:

Hi, I’m George from Thames Valley Windows, and today we’re taking a look at the ultra-slim EdgeGLIDE Plus Sliding Door.

It’s a thermal efficiency Sleek inline sliding door system that we have on display in our Bracknell showroom, and it features a 35 mm sight line, one of the best around.

As you can see, this is the sight line I’m referring to, and this is a 35 mm.

The track we have here is a dual-track system, consisting of two panels that slide in either direction. You can also opt for a triple-track sliding door, which features three panels that slide in both directions.

It comes with this option as standard, so you don’t have to have them fixed at all, which is fantastic because it makes it more cost-effective than most of the other options available on the sliding door market.

The high-quality EdgeGLIDE Plus Sliding Door, which we have on display, is a double-glazed, dual-colour slider, featuring black on the outside and white on the inside.

Should you choose an additional colour like grey black or white on a standard side or both sides then we can also look at that there is also options of dual colours so if you want to have it a different colour to complement your property you can do that at an additional cost to the ones that we’ve got here as I said is white with a grey handle there is also the option of colour matched hardware.

With a frame depth of 70 mm front to back, which is excellent for the replacement of existing doors; most doors on the market are around about that depth, so it means that we can take that out of the existing aperture and fit with the new sliding patio door at ease and with minimal making good should you choose to have a dual track.

As I said, one’s 70 mm, but the triple track is going to be a 100mm front and back, which again is quite within standard remits. The u-values we have here are 1.36, which is again compliant with building regulations.

The EdgeGLIDE Plus Sliding door is available in double or triple-glazed options. If you opt for a triple-glazed option, it will offer a higher thermal efficiency for your property.

The one we have on display at the showroom has a slightly rebated track, and that’s because the floor levels in your home are set slightly differently. What we can do is mitigate that so you can have a complete flush track for your property.

The EdgeGLIDE inline Sliding door, on display in the showroom, is quite minimalist in its aesthetics, featuring a large glazing area. However, you can get panels up to 2.2m x 2.6m per panel, which equates to what I’ve got here behind me.

Hence, it means that you can get it for any project that you need. It’s very cost-effective, slimline, and provides a great inline aluminium sliding door solution that seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor areas.
