Here at Thames Valley Windows, we continue to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation actively and follow the latest government guidance to contain the spread of the virus.
However, it is we believe responsible for letting you; our valued customers know precisely what procedures we are taking to protect our business and you.
The Thames Valley Windows virtual office is fully staffed, albeit all staff and designers working from home, and the Bracknell showroom is currently closed to the general public to visit, and will only open for a pre-booked and confirmed appointment with a designer. We are trying to operate a “Business as Usual” attitude and provide as uninterrupted services as possible.
As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop daily, we are doing everything possible to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees and you, our valued customers and your family.
We are now also following government guidelines on preventative measures and deep cleaning in the light of this outbreak; hand sanitiser is provided, and all products and surfaces are being cleaned regularly with anti-bacterial wipes and disinfectant spray.
Some of our British manufacturers have taken the decision to close for the period, if that affects your installation we will be in touch separately with further information.
We are being told that supplies of raw materials are OK at the moment, but this situation is fluid as you can imagine. We have no predicted issues but we will review constantly and update if any changes.
Staff are following the advice of the government and Public Health England not to shake hands and to maintain the social distance of two metres when meeting you or visiting your home or site.
Our fitters have been supplied with anti-bacterial wipes and sprays, and gloves and will disinfect and wipe down after each installation.
We can assure you that none of our employees has visited at-risk areas recently, nor have any of them had to self-isolate because of any fears of contact with the virus.
We have put into place procedures to ensure that our business can continue to operate efficiently and deliver the high quality, customer service you are used to.
We are ensuring that our employees have the equipment, technology and systems in place to allow them to work remotely while following our usual processes and access all necessary documentation to minimise any disruption.
As well as email and telephone communications, we are also able to offer virtual show rounds and meetings via video conferencing / Skype.
We will continue to provide quotes by telephone and email. Contracts can be signed electronically so that orders can still be placed and scheduled.
